On the bright morning of October 8th, the vibrant spirit of community and shared vision came alive as alumni from across the state gathered for an event that marked the beginning of an inspiring journey. The occasion, "Leaders that Brunch”, served as a kick-off for the formation of a new Alumni Association, and it was nothing short of a resounding success. The event was not merely a gathering but a call to action. 

Leaders in attendance broke into groups, fostering an environment of collaboration and creativity. Four committees emerged from this gathering, each dedicated to a unique aspect of the alumni association's mission: connecting alumni, empowerment and inspiration, legislative advocacy, and community outreach.  

Amidst the fervor of this memorable day, the event also took the time to honor three exceptional alumni. Michelle Grewal, Gretchen Fishman, and Danielle Graziano, were recognized for their unwavering support of the Family Leadership Program. Their efforts in empowering families were celebrated, serving as a testament to the incredible impact individuals can have on a community.

Building a strong and united alumni community is a collective effort. The Leaders that Brunch Alumni Event was just the beginning. For those who couldn't attend, an upcoming virtual event on November 30th promises to be an equally important milestone. The initial committees formed at the inaugural event will share their thoughts, goals, and initiatives with other alumni, inviting them to join in and contribute to the network. 

The Leaders that Brunch Alumni Event showcased the incredible potential that lies within a united alumni community and marked only the first step towards the creation of a powerful Family Leadership Program Alumni Association.
